As a Bank Support Worker with us you will have a unique opportunity to our service users to fulfil their potential using a person-centred approach. We offer a range of in-house activities such as Cooking, Life-skills, Arts and Crafts, Yoga, Dance, Drama, Woodwork, ASDAN, Café Allsorts, Dance, Sing-sign and so much more; as well as accessing the community for Multi-Sports, Gym, Football, Swimming, Tennis, Golf, Trampolining, Cycling etc.
Your main duties will be to offer practical and emotional support to adults in a group, or on a 1:1 basis; and we are especially keen to talk to candidates who have a passion for enablement and inclusion of people who have complex needs. The ability to use your initiative and previous experience working with people with learning disabilities is desirable, as is working as part of a team within a similar environment.
However, if you don’t particularly have any experience in this line of work- if you’re a kind, caring hardworking person with excellent communication skills, then dont be put off; please feel free to get in contact.
Applicants with experience within a similar setting and who hold a full driving license plus have own vehicle are preferable (you will on occasion have to use your own vehicle but the majority of the time you will be using our own fleet of vehicles).
