Terms and Conditions:

It is vitally important that you make us aware of any risks for you using Project Saturday, or any risks presented by you to support staff, other people or property. If we feel that you need more support than our usual ratio we will talk to you and your carer/ parent. As a last resort we reserve the right to withdraw the service from you.

You are welcome to bring your own personal assistant / support worker with you.

You will not be able to use the service if you are obviously ill. Your parents/carers will be requested to pick you up and take you home, or if you live independently we will help you to get home. In the event of serious injury or collapse, an ambulance will be called for you. If hospital treatment is required, a member of staff will accompany you to hospital and stay with you until your parents/carers can support you there. For this reason it is extremely important that you update us with any changes of personal information, mobile numbers etc.

If medicines need to be administered during the day, we require by law that you provide us with written authority for that medicine (this includes most over the counter remedies). The medicines must be for you and must have printed instructions from a pharmacist which are clear to follow. The medicines must be given to us in its original container from the pharmacy. This medication will be stored safely and recorded appropriately, according to our administration of medication policy.

Accidents and incidents will be recorded and the relevant people notified
